QuipperSchool in ICST for school term 2015-2016

Posted: 02/20/2015 in Uncategorized

Finally after several months of trying and experimenting as well as observing how QuipperSchool works, considering that we found out that it helps a great deal to our students especially the Filipino subjects. We’ve finally embraced the said Education site and will fully integrate it into our school’s curriculum, although we are still going to make the ACE curriculum as our banner curriculum ICSquipperT will open its arms to this helpful educational tool.

It is amazing to know that QuipperSchool’s way of introducing its subjects and courses is not quite differnet from the ACE curriculum. Just like the PACEs (modules our students use), all the student has to do is click on the subject then tap on the topic that is available then read and understand the given topic. Afterwards, the student will ahve to take the quiz to make sure that he/she understood whta was teh topic all about. What is good about QuipperSchool is that they will allow the student to take the quiz as many times as they want until they have finally finally mastered the subject.

Positive feedbacks had been received from the students especially those who were to take the NAT examination in the Philippines taht those who availed to this educational tool had made it and passed the said exam.  Because of the said positive feedback, ICST saw the efficiency of the said site as well as how it will be beneficial to Filipino students who are currently staying outside of teh Philippines. This simply means that the Philippine curriculum could now be accessed freely by Filipino kids who are outside of the country and elarn the same subjects that Filipino children in the Philippines are learning.

Thus, we are pleased to announce that starting school term 2015-2016, ICST is incorporating all of the subjects being offered in QuipperSchool which includes Filipino and Araling Panlipunan into its curriculum.

It will be a bumpy and rough road ahead for the ICSTians but it will definitely worth it as they will learn the best of two curriculums, the Philippine Curriculum and ACE curriculum.
